Brooke
Brooke, our beautiful little special needs girl, was born unable to see. She has known no other life and this handicap does not stop her one bit. Brooke has no problems with playing with her siblings, playing with toys, eating, drinking, making it to the newspaper to do her duty, and exploring her surroundings. JoJo
Lookie at this precious cutie pie! JoJo is another one of those designer breeds the Amish puppy mills are producing. They're called a Ratshire Terrier. A mix of a Yorkshire Terrier and a Rat Terrier. Luckily we got to JoJo before she started an endless cycle of breeding. She's an itty bitty thing, just over two pounds. She loves to play, but is a little bit reserved at this point. Justin is a Yorkshire Terrier and Rat Terrier mix. He and his sister, JoJo, have the coloring of a yorkie, a face with characteristics of both breeds, and a short coat. We are thrilled to have rescued Jesse from a Holmes County puppy mill. He's just darling. Spunky and friendly as can be, but a darling. No two Cairns are truly alike; each has distinct personality and character differences. As a rule, though, Cairns are somewhat independent. A typical puppy may sit on your lap for a few moments, but will resist being held for long, wriggling impatiently to get down and explore. Jake is the first yellow Lab we have rescued. He is a friendly lab puppy who is long and lanky. He is a bit thin for a Lab puppy which may be part of his previous environment and part genetic. He eats like a horse though so I am sure he will be putting on weight now that he has a chance at living the Lab life.
